Couaty Teachers' Association. Lexington County Teachers' Association held one of the most interesting meetines & in the course oi its history September 30, 1905. The meeting was called to order by Mr. J. F. Xyzer. DeTofcional exercises were conducted. The first on the program was the song America, which was sung by the members present Miss Dominick presided at the organ. Miss Eppie Roof read a very carefully *? prepared paper on The Need of School Libraries. She very-freely showed this library to be the most potent power by ' which the children of today may be refined and elevated ; Miss Mary C. Wingardin a briff manner discnssed the Method of Securing Funds for School Libraries. Supt J. S. R. Kyzer and Miss Hattie Roberts discussed folly How to Conduct School Libraries Properly. The former gave ns law points on the subject. Mr. B. E. Shealy and Miss Lizzie Seay not being present, the Importance of Betg ter School Equipment was carried over r for October meeting. The Association was glad to have Dr. J. L. Shuler present He was asked to ad dress the Association, which he did in a ver? easv marner.
