Narrow Escape.
A little boy whose name could not
be learned, narrowly escaped a tragic
death yesterday on the midday train
nn thp CJnlnmhia. Newberrv and
Laurens Railroad. While the
train was speeding between Little
Mountain and ChapiD, the train
gave a lurch in rounding a curve
throwing 4he little fellow out of an
open window. Hie mother, who was
sitting on a seat behind him, caught
the little fellow by the ankle as it
disappeared over the sill. Passengers
on the train came to her assistance
and got the little fellow back
into the car unhurt.
