Johnny was a kind and obedient eon, a living brother and devouted friend, therefore, none knew him but to love him. He waa laid to rest the following day in the Macedonia cemetery, in the presence of a large congregation of sorrowing relatives and friends. May God in bis goodness comfort and console the bereaved family, and may they ever realize that God doeth all things to his glory and honor; and while Johnny has made a vacant / place at home he has just filled one ia heaven. 'tVifl miflinrr r68UH8H? upuunuiu^ ui lud uiimug industry, is shown by the statistics in the report of -the census bureau of the department of commerce and labor. Farm lands have been steadily developed until today there are in the South, according to the bureau's report, 9,110, milling establishments occupied in transferring the products of the southern farmer into flour of various kinds. This is an increase of 2,723 mills during the decade ending 1900. In other words, the South, in order to handle her own grain and receive the benefits of the business resulting from its production, has been building mills at the rate of 300 a year until the recent year more than $25,000,000 is invested in the grain milling industry alone.
