Last Monday it was our pleasure to meet on the Columbia train, Mr. W. S. Moore, formerly of Swansea, but now residing at Trenton, where he is engaged in the carpenters trade at which he is doing well. Mr. D. I. Hite, formerly of this county, but whose temporary home is at Plains, Ga., is visiting friends at and around the old home. He is a first class blacksmith and wheel wright, and speaks of coming back and locating at Leesviile. The committee to decide upon the location of the parsonage of the Lexington charge of the Evangelical Lutheran chnrch are in session today. The parsonage will probably be located in this place. H. M. Wingard will move back to his old stand as soon as the Dew building is completed and in the meantime offers bis present stock of general merchandise at greatly reduced prices in order to save the expenses of moving.
