Times are dull by reason of everybody
being busy, many an acre will
be planted to corn within the next
ten days. The small grain crop has
come out wonderfully since the warm
weather set in.
Mr. F. Hamp Hendrix, of Leesville,
Chairman of the County Board
of Equal'zatioD, was in town Tuesday
and gave us a pleasant call. Mr.
Hendrix is a successful and prosper- 1
pus business man of that town.
There will be communion services at
Pilgrim Evangelical Lutheran church
on the second Sunday in April. Preparatory
services on the Saturday
before. The pastor, Rev. J. A. Cromer
will officiate.
