Saved From Terrible Death.
The family of Mrs. M. L. Bobbitt, of
Bargetown, Tenn., saw her dying and
were powerless to save her. The most
skillful physicians and every remedy

this terrible hour Dr. Kings's New Discovery
for Consumption turned despair
into joy. The first bottle brought immediate
relief and its continued use
completely cured her. Its the most
certain cure in the world for all throat
and lung troubles, u-uaranteed bottles

Fort Mill, January 11).?An interesting
and historic newspa]X>r in the possession
of Mr. B. \V. Bradford, editor
of the local newspaper, is a copy of the
Yic-ksburg (Miss.) Daily Citizen, of
Thursday, July 3, J 8(53, being the last
issue of the paper gotten up before Gen.
Grant invested the city. The typo was
si?t up by Confederate printers and the ,
issue was printed by Yankee printers, 011
wall paper?the only kind of paper in
the city at the time.
Anions; the articles written by the
Confederate editor for the issue of the
pajier was the following: .
"On Dit?That the great Ulysees?the

in Yicksburg 011 Sunday next and celebrating
the Fourth of July by a grand
dinner, and so fort! 1. When asked if he
would invite Gen. .To. Johnson to join, |
he said, 'Oh! for fear there will be a
row at the table.' Ulysees must get :
into the city before lie dines in it. The l

To whicli the Yankee printers, before I
closing the forms, added the following
comment:
"Note?July 4th, 1893: Two days
bring about great changes. The banner
of the Union floats over Vicksburg. Gen.
Grant has 'caught the rabbit;' he has
dined in Vicksburg, and he did bring his

Several hundred copies of the itsue

dollars each, Confederate money.
