the court house at ll o'clock a. m ,
under call of County Chairman, Hon.
John B Towill. The Secretary called
the roll and read the minutes of
last meeting.
The foimer Treasurer made bis
report. Moved by F. H. Hendrix,
that Treasurer's report be received
and that money be turned over to the
Treasurer and a committee be appointed
to examine former Treasurer's
report. Adopted. Committee:

Moved, by James B. Addy, that all
candidates file their pledges and pay
their assessment on or before 12
o'clock the night before the first
compaign meeting to the County

Leesville College.
On Tuesday morning at 8:30
o'clock Leesville College chapel was
crowded far beyond seating capacity
by an audience eager to witness the
exercises to be given by the graduating
class of 1904 The chapel
was most artistically draped in the
colors, garnet and white, and above
the rostrum, in large white letters
on a garnet background, was their
mottc?"Rowendu ne Fleatendu.'?
The soft light given by ihs hundreds
of candles with which the chapel
was lighted as it shone on the colored
drapiDgs and other decorations
made the auditorium indeed a beautiful
place. The following programme
was moat effectually carried
out by the graduates in the Literary j
and Musical departments and an
audience never left mor8 highly
pleased:

Mr. J. A. Wolfe, of Sandy Run,
this county, and Miss Agnes, the
second daughter of toe iate Mr. John
D. Frost, were happily united in the
bonds of matrimoLy at the lovely
home of the Frost family in upper
Richland on June 8fh.
