The Outcast's Dream."
44Pass mi? not, O gentle Saviour?"
Came the anthem sweet and low;
Tnrough the church the music wandered.
Soft as autum breezes blow;
And it seemed to one poor woman
Seated in a corner dim,
That her wean* hearr w*is solaced
By the music of the hymn.
4'Pass me not, O gentle Savionr?"
Years ago she'd heard the song,
In the church down in the valley.
Where the days seem dull and long.
Tsow with all her bright dreams vanished,
Sick and faint, no friends to greet,
/ She was Dut a neipiess outcast?
^Just a wreck u;:on the street.
*4Pass me not, O gentle Saviour?"
Worn and tired, the woman slept,
"While within her mind so weary
Flitting visions lightly crept,
And she saw the dear old homestead
Where she spent her girlhood's days.
Ere her erring steps had wandered
Into sin's broad, luring ways.
44Pass me not, 0 gentle Saviour?"
All her dreams were fading fast,
Yet before her dulling senses passed.
Scenes of home and youth still
Father, mother, sisters, brothers,
Childhood's playmates?all were there.
Round the pleasant little cottage,
W"hptp thp daisies bloom so fair.
4'Pass me not, 0 gentle Saviour?"
Now the services were done;
But the woman did not waken,
For her earthly course was run.
4*God has called her," said the parson,
When a tear stood in his eye;
44She fell wearied by the wayside.
But he did not pass her by."
Triumphs of Modern Surgery.
Wonderful things are done for the
human body by surgery. Organs are
taken out and scraped and polished and
put back,' or they may be removed entirely;
bones are spliced; pipes take the
place of diseased sections of veins; antiseptic
dressings are applied to wounds,
bruises, burns, and like injuries before
inflammation sets in, which causes them
to heal without maturation and in onethird
the time required by the old treatment.
Chamberlain's Pain Balm acts
on this same principle. It is an antiseptic
and when applied to such injuries,
causes them to heal very quickly. It
also allays the pain and soreness. Keep
a bottle of Pain Balmia^your home and
it will save you time and money, not to
mention the inconvenience and suffering
which such injuries entail. For
sale by The Kaufmann Drug Co.

T^Torst of All Experiences.
Can anything be worse than to feel
that every minute will be your last?
Such was the experience of Mrs. S. H.
Newson, Decatur. Ala. For three years.''
she writes, "I endured insufferable pain
from indigestion, stomach and bowel
trouble. Death seemed inevitable when
doctors and all remedies failed. At
lenth I was induced to try Electric
Bitters and the result was miraculous.
I improved at once and now I'm completely

bed-wetting, depend upon it. the cause of
the difficulty is kidney trouble, and the first
step should be towards the treatment of
these important organs. This unpleasant
trouble is due to a diseased condition of the

most people suppose.
Women as well as men are made miserable
