Plenty of Cotton.
j It ia not thought now that any of
I the cotton milla of this State will
have to close down at any time daring
the summer. At first when cotton
was soaring up and many of the
mills were ruuning on a hand and
mouth basis it was thought that
many of them would have to close
for awhile. Most of tbem have recovered
however, and have placed
contracts for supplies large enough
to run them until next October, the
opening of the cotton season. A
rough estimate places the number of
bales to be used by the three large
cotton mills in Columbia from now
I ?.: - *-11 -j. _i a i n rvni
until tut) lau. at auuut iu.uui uaiea
Contracts have been placed for all of
this and there will not be the slighteat
difficulty in securing the cotton.
In Georgia the conditions are practically
the same, but in North Caroj
lina several of the mills have to shut
down.
A Positive Necessity.
Having to lay upon my bed for 14 days
from a severely braised leg, I only found
relief when I used a bottle of Ballard's
Snow Liniment. I can cheerfully recommend
it as the best medicine for
bruises ever sent to the afflicted. It has
now become a positive necessity upon
myself. D. R. Byrnes, Merchant, Doversville,
