The coroner's jury of Chicago hss concluded its inquiry as to the r< sponsibility for the fire in the Iriquois theatre, aud the nameB of about a dozan persous are presented as being responsible, among the number being Mayor Harrison. Recently at Norfolk, Va., fire destroyed the immense plant of the American Fertilizer Co., near the United States navy yard. The lose is Si,000,000. The heat caused a number of shells stored in a house in the navy yard to explode and for a time a general bombardment could be heard for several miles.
