and an adopted daughter Mr3.
Byron Rucker of Oraogburg county,

| and a host of frienda to mourn her
departure. As a Christian her character
was radiant with the virtues
which eboce so beautifully, and perfect
in the life of her device Master.
Sorrow rtvealed * be nobility of her
nature as night brings out the stars.
The fuueral seivices were conducted
by her pastor. Rev. Dukes,
? and her body was laid to rest in the
family cemetery, in Orangeburg
county, but her happy spirit has
soared aloft to realms above. S.
