Mr. D. K. Hook, of near New

to see us and had the Dispatch
started to visit his home in the future.
Mr. A E Derrick, one of Hollow
creek's best citizens, was in town
Saturday. Mr. Derrick is an old
subscriber to the Dispatch and we
are always glad to have him call in
to see us.
Mr. Julian Meetze, a young man
of our town, is now on the road as
salesman for Ernest Dapre, a well
kaown wholesale house of Columbia.
Julian made his first trip last week

Woodford, recently killed a hog
weighing 445 pounds gross. Mr.
Sturkie is a good farmer and believes

once a teacher in the Palmetto Collegiate
Institute, of this place, is now

Mr. Leopard S. Derrick, of the
Hollow creek section, was in town

does not want anything unless be

Thomas L. Martin is erecting a new

who has for several years been

of several days is out on the streets

N. C., is visiting her parents, Mr.
and Mrs. Pink Summer.
Mrs. Mary Ann Swygert went to
Laurens today to visit her eon, Mrs.
Brook3 Swygert.
Mrs. Arthur Peeler has returned to
her home at Gaffoey after spending
several days with her sister, Mrs. J.
C. Swygert, Jr.
Mr. Jesse Shealy is sgain on duty
as telegraph operator at Alston.
Mr. Joo. C. Swygert is out again
after an attack of the grip.
Rev. S. C. Balientine filled bis regular
appointment at Mount Hermon
Lutheran church on Sunday morning
and administered the Holy

on Saturday.
Miss Myra Suber has returned
home after spending a few weeks at
Strothers visiting relatives.
Miss Carrie Stoudemire and Mr.
Joe Eargle were married last Thursday

that an Airocions murder was committed
in the county ot Lexington on of about
the 8th day ot Nov 1903, upon the body
of Perry Isaac, by Campbell Speaks, and
that the said Campbell Speaks has fled from
justice.
Now, therefore. I, D C. Feyward,
Governor of the State of South Carolina,
in order that justice may be done, and the
majesty ot the law vindicated, do hereby
offer a reward of One Hundred Dollars for
the apprehension and delivery ot the said
Campbell Speaks to the sheriff of Lexington
county, Lexington. S. C.
