Our law makers will meet in their
annual session tomorrow. We hope
they will spend their time in repealing
some laws and makiogsome good
and permanent laws which are much
needed. The road law should have
much consideration. There is room
for much improvement. The jury
law 6houid be considered. As they
are now there is much expense and
not much justice. We know that
they will do as they please so we will
close. Lloyd.

Letter to 7. H. Corley.
Lexington, S. C.
Dear Sir: There are several wa\s of
cheating in inilk. An old-fashioned way is
to water it Nobody waters it now. A
better way is to take oat cream?rich milk
\*ith the cream taken out is as good as poor
milk with its cream all in.
Pnt we needn't go into particulars.
Von don't rob your *nuk and yoar customers.
Paint is as easy as milk to cheat with.
Good paint is as rare as good milk; for
hum iu nature is much the same in milkmen
and paint men.
Yon are just and true with your milk;
so are we with our pamt. Devoe lead-audzinc
is twice as go 3d as mixed paints:
There's twice as much butter in it!
Mr. J. T. Ladd, Cheraw 8, C., writes:
When Mr. Evans painted his house with
Devoe, he figured on how other paints
covered and had enongh left to paint three
large rooms. He was so pleastd that he
has nsed Devoe on two other houses."
Yours truly,
F. W. Devoe & Co.,
