She has been in )ur State and done successful Temperance work twice before. Her ast visit was at our annual Convention at Anderson ifr October where jhe did .fine service. She spoke 3uring convection on Sunday night n the first Baptist churcb, the largest ihurch in Anderson. The other jburches closed and their pastors vere present to hear her. Death of Mrs. Ann Gross. We are indeed sorry to chronicle ie death of Mrs. Ann Gross, the ife of Mr. Simeon M. Gross. She as been in delicate health for some me. The report of her sad death ill be received with mournful conumances by those who knew her best, he was a thorough Christian lady nd her influence for good will be lissed in the community. She died a Monday afternoon and was hurried 'uesday afternoon at Providence emetery. This leaves Mr. Gross rithout a family. Some years ago is only two children died, a boy and girl. In this hour of suffering we xtend to Mr. Gross the sincere ympathy of The Dispatch. We rust that his wounded add disconolate soul will receive consolation rom Him, who is the friend of all in eed and distress. People are getting ready for Ihristmas.
