* Doing Fine.
Our efficient and very accommodating
County Treasurer, Mr. F. W.
Shealy, and his assistant, Mr. Scott
Shirey, called in oar office last Saturday
evening after finishing their
weeks tour of collecting taxds in the
Fork and intimated to us that they
* were not only satisfied with the
amount of taxes that they had collected
but that thev felt very much improv
ed in health by feasting a solid week
on podding and sausage, the fat oi
the lamb and occasionally an extra
dinner of sardines and snow flakes.
We are all satisfied that the people
of the Fork, where ever they found it
convenient to stop, gave them a warm
reception and no doubt it will be remembered
by them long in the futnre.
