The Lexington Dispatch. Wednesday, October 14,1903. Why Women Worry. If a woman is to protect herself from the ravages of worry and so retain her youth for a longer period she must come info more frequent contract with other people, as her i husband does, and read good books; [ she must relieve the monotony of her I duties and the limiting influence of k confinement within four walls by s taking outdoor exercise?i walk every J day or a spin on a bicycle; in short, she must exercise the body and mine in a healthful manner; and she will find the bloom of youth and health remain with her for years after it has faded in other women of the same ago "The ordinary woman11, says a celebrated physician, "leads such a monotonous existence that her mind has no occupation but worry. What she needs is to come out of herself much more see more people and take mnrA exercise. Thi9 can be done without neglecting the home, and every right-minded man will do his best to secure for his mother or bis sister or bis wife these aids to the retention of youthfulness of body and mind". f There is more Catarrh in this section of the country than all other diseases put together, and until the last few years was supposed to be incurable. For a great many years doctors pronounced it a local disease and prescribed local reme, dies, and by constantly failing to cure with local treatment, pronounced it incurable. Science has proven catarrh to be a constitutional disease and therefore requires constitutional treatment. Hail's Catarrh Cure, kn 1? T rih onoc X- I JUHUUlltUlUlCU UJ JL." The ancient maxim, "High silver, high cotton," is being revived in connection with th8 recent rise in price both bf metal and staple. Whatever may be the explanation of this fact, it certainly has an important bearing just at present on the cotton situation in the South. Many cotton mills in this section have shut down on account of the "hioh nrioe of the stecle. As a rule D- ? A these southern mills sell the greater part of their output to silver-standard countries, such as China and India. The; higher the price of silver, the greater the purchasing power of the money received by the mills for their goods; in other words, as silver goes up the margin of profit is increased for the southern mills. The factories are starting up as fast as they can get the cotton. The outlook is bright, not only for the planter, but for the spinner and weaver as well. * Dieting Invites Disease.
