In the United States have used
the the Longman A Martinez Pure
Paints.
Every church will ba given a
liberal quantity whenever they paint.
Don't pay $150 a gallon for Linseed
oil (worth 60 cents) which you
do when you buy thin paint m a can
with a paint label on it.
8 and 6 make 14, therefore when
you want fourteen gallons of paint,
buy only eight gallons of L. & M,
and mix six gallons of pure linseed
oil with it.
You need only four gallons of L. &
M. paint, and throe gallons of oil
mixed therewith to paint a good siztd
house.
Houses painted with these paints
never grow shabby, even after 18
years.
These celebrated paints are sold

Still Growing.
Lexington is becoming to be quite
an important railway station, Besides
returning the largest freight
receipts of any station between Columbia
and Augusta, it is rumored
that thi3 sta'ion is to be made the
meeting point for all trains on the
Augusta end. Be this as it may,
however, it has been found that the
present side track is insufficient to
accommodate the traiDP, which cow
meet here and the increased traffic
that is now being done, aDd it is
necessary to increase the side track
capacity. A gang of hands have
been at work on a new track, which
commences Eear the old batting factory,
a distance of about half a mile
frnm thfl rlpnnf. toward the later
place, joining the present side track.
There is some move on foot looking
to the advantage of Lexington, but
the nature of which we have failed
to catch on to.
Excursion Bates to Augusta. |
The Soctaein will sell reduced
rate tickets from all points in the
State to Augusta, Ga., and return on
account of State Reunion of Confederate
Veterans November 10-I2tb, at
one cent a mile plus twenty-five
cents. Tickets on Bale from points
beyond radius of 100 miles of
Augusta, Ga, November 9?10th,
and points within radius of 100 miles
November 10-lltb, and for trains
