Augusta Electric Line.
The suivey for the Augusta *lectric
line is steadily progressing and
the surveyors have reached a point
about thirty miles from the city
toward AikeD. Mr. Guignard says
they have a splendid route and is a*
nearly straight as possible. The
road when built will cross the Congaree
over the Seaboard bridge, and
this gives further Strength to the
idea that the Seaboard is backing the
line and will use the track to secure
an entrance into Augusta.
