Obituary. William Luther, eoa of Henry anc Parmelia Miller, was born Jauuar> 4tb, 1840, and departed this life Apr! 19. 1903. Aged sixty-tbiee years three months and fifteen days. H~ was joined in holy matrimony tc Eliza King about the year I860 Tc them were born six children?twe boys and four girls. His wife and one girl preceded him to the grave He leaves five children, twenty sever grand children and a wife (and odc | child by his second marriage] toj gether with a host of friends tc [ mourn his death. He volunteed as a i soldier at the beginning of the war I between the States and came home | only once during that war. He was a member of Co. K, 13'h, S C j V., and was faithful in the discharge ! of every duty. He was one among | the most trusted ecbouts on account of his courage, endurance and discretion. He connected himself with tie Lutheran church in his young days and continued a member until a "out three years ago he transferred his membership to the Baptist chor. h and continued in full fellowship until his death.
