New Railroad Bridge.
We understand that the Southern
Railway has decided to tear down
the bridge, which spanns Broad river
at Peak and replace it with a more
modern and a heavier one. This is
1 -
maae necessary uy icaouu hjc
heavy weight of the large engines
and improved rolling stock. Toe
old bridge can probably be purchased
remarkably cheap and it will do well
for the County Commissioners of this
county and Fairfield county to investigate
the matter, but more of this
at another time.
