The Columbia Evening Record informs us that Mr. M. H. Witt of Brookland, was painfully, though not ^ seriously burned Monday night, while taking a cabinet bath. The origin of the fire is unknown, bat there are evidences v which arouses suspicion of it having been the work of an incendiary. Mr. Langford's loss is about $150. The Governor has offered a reward of one hundred dollars for the appre* hension and conviction of the person or persons who did the dirty work. Orsr Flowing.
