Mr. Haliman was a native of this county and worked for awhile at Red Bank where he had many friends. He married a daughter of Mr. J. Pickens Jones, who survives him. Mr. Jasper Sop, a valued employee of the Lexington Manufacturing Co, died at his home in this place Monday after an illness of about two weeks. Mr. Son was night engineer at the mill and was faithful and conscientious in the discharge of his duties. His remains were carried to his old home near Leesville for interment, being accompanied to their last resting place by a delegation from Dixie Lodge, No 52, I 0 0 F, of which order he was a useful member.
