last Monday, Fred Kaigler, colored,
was accidentally injured by a limb
falling on him. While his injuries

Dwelling Burned.
We learn that the dwelling of
Rev N. S. Younginer. near Irmo, in
the Fork, was entirely consumed by
fire at about 10 o'clock Monday
night. All of his household and
kitchen furniture were also destroyed.
The origin of the fire is supposed
to have been from a defective flue. ;
The wife of Mr. Y^ounginer is an j
invalid and he is getting on in years j

Mr. D. C. Harman had a bridge
raising last week.
Miss Zula Harman, of Barre's is

move on bis sand hill place. We are
sorry to note that we are going to
lose such a clever neighbor but are
consoled by the thought that the
sand hills will gain a good citizen.

Prof. W. W. Lindler, who is teaching

a much better school. Rules is
the key for controlling pupils.

Hollow creek. He seems to be well
satisfied.
Miss Alice Harman, of Barree,
spent Saturday and Sunday with her

excellent sermon Sunday at Mount
Pleasant from 5th Roman and 29th
