Supreme Court Dicesions.
The Supreme Court has handed
down its opinion in tbe case of the
Loan and Exchange Bank of South
Carolina, appellant, vs. Frank W.
Shealy, Treasurer of Lexington
county, respondent. It is adjudged
that so much of the judgment appealed
from as dismissed to the petition
be affirmed without prejudice.

Death of an Old Citizen.
Mr. Alexander Daily, one of the
I oldest citizens of the Fork, died
at his home, near Selma, S. C., on
the 14th instant. He was almost S8
years of age, being 87 at his last
birthday, March 19th, 1901. He
was a member of Shady Grove
Methodist church, and was 'juried at
the graveyard near his home by Revs.
