The State Holiness Association, which convened in the tabernacle at this place od Monday, the 4ih inst, will end its annual scsfcion today The meetings have been largely attended. The sermous preached by the eminent divines, Revs. Pike, Holmes, Hewston, Tood and ether?, have made an impression for good. Mr. William Etberedge, son of Mr and Mrs. Tyre Eiheredge, quietly passed away at his home in our little city last Saturday afternoon. His funeral was solemnized in the Lutheran chapel, Sunday, at 4:30 p. m , Rev. Mr. Kinard officiating, aftei which his body was by tender loving hand laid away ia Lutheran cemetery to await the final call. Tht Urge concourse of people present and the demonstrations of grief witnessed the truth, that Willie was loved and respected by all who knew him. Not the least merit of the American Cotton Company's Roundlap bale is that besides its other economics it prevents this UDjast tribute from being levied on the farmer. Lexington County Fair. The New3 aud Herald ha3 received a copy of the premium list for the third annual fair of the Lexington County Fair Association. The fair is to be htld at Lexington C. H, October 25th to 27ih. The number of premiums offered in the various departments is much greater than is usual for county fairs. The printing was cleverly done by the Dispatch job office.?The Fail field News aDd Herald. The premium list of the Lexington Fair Association has just been issued. It is well gotten up and a number of premiums are offered. Tne fair will open October 25.h and close October 27ih. It is honed that every one will assist in making it a grand success.?Our Summit News Latter. The third annual fair of the Lexingtoa County Fair Association will be held at Lexington October 25 27. A neatly printed premium list has been issued, showing that valuable premiums are offered in every department of such exhibitions. She was a good wife and mother but several years ago she found her health slipping away from her. She realized that this meant the inevitable nervousness and irritability that would surely lose for her the affection of her children and husband, and that as her health declined discord and misery would appear in her home. She was filled with the loving motherly instinct, but two miscarriages in succession almost broke her heart.
