Of this amount $8,000 is due by
the, railroads, the Florida Central
and Peninsular being the only one to
pay its taxes, and $20,926.76 is due

schools will be able to judge in adadvance
the high character of this
one. Probably the special feature of
the program is the rendering of two
songs by tbe infant classes which
are now being trained by the indefatigable

President McKinley and party
passed through this place last Monday
night about 10 o'clock en route
for Washington. The train od
which they are traveling is said to
be one of the finest in the United
States and is furnished by the Southern
Railway. When it passed
through this place it was brilliantly
illuminated and was a beautiful
