Spring Hill Dots.
Editor Lexington Dispatch:
This section has been blessed with
bountiful rains, and, therefore, the
crops are generally good, and we are
glad to say that more corn and oats
have been planted and made than
usual.

We wish all the farmer organizations
much - success for they are
Christianizing and educating the
laboring classes of our country.
They should remember that
''united we stand, divided we fall/'
and never let one breach occur in
their ranks. Our opponents are
making a desperate effort to make a
breach in our ranks so that they can
get a few of their chosen demagogues
in our midst, and if they uo, it may
be fatal to our cause. The farming
class of people have a majority of
voters and why should they not have
* a majority of representatives? We
can have, if we will only rise in our
might and snow our opponents under
by an overwhelming majority of
votes at the coming election. We

Your bumcle scribe was at Lex- !

disgust the manner in which some of !
the candidates were treated. The !
County Chairman did all in his j
power to quell that surging mass of
humanity but he had just as well ;
tried to ealm the dashing waves of |
the Atlantic ocean. It is a disgrace j
to civilization and our State that a :
fair, impartial hearing cannot be ob I
tained bv the candidates. If there
- y ' - .
is no way to stop this "howling
down" process, then I think the two
factions should abandon the canvass \
and let those who wish^i*^howl,
