By reason of the change made in
the lion law at the last session of the
Legislature, it is now uecessary that
each lien should contain the name of
the plantation or place where the
lienor resides or works. Otherwise
the lions may bo considered not properly
filled and not received for record.
We give this information for our merchants
and other s who may have occasion
to fill liens. This was the law
last year but it was seldom ever filled
out in the blanks provided for it
