Death Stops This Wedding.
Columbia, S. C., May 21).?
With his wedding scarcely a week
off. Paul Youn.ans, aged 32 years,
a son of former Attorney General
Lcroy b. Youmans,- was taken
violently ill about 9 o'clock last
evening while visiting the home
of his botrothed, and died at 9:30
o'clock this morning, without regaining
consciousness. Up to the
time of the attack Mr. Youmans
was apparently in tho best of
1 health.

rather peculiar cloud was observed
in Columbus last night. As a
little group of men stood watching
il, tho cloud gradually assumed
' the shape of a man's head and
breast. It was tho picture of
Grover Cleveland, with the mouth,
- nose, mustache, hair, neck and
- breast quite distinct. Tho moon's
- rays fell on the cloud picture,
making it bright and distinct. One
interpretation of the cloud sign by
- an enthusiastic admirer of the ex?
president was that, as tho picture
appeared in the southeast, the
south and east would unite and
' nominate Cleveland for president.
