in a rocky amphitheatre close to

Thomas Gibson Cnlp died at Ins
homo in Foil Mill Tuesday afternoon
of paralysis, of ^liich he
was stricken a week hefo're. After
the stroke he never returned to
consciousness. Wednesday funeral
services were conducted in
the Presbyterian church, of which
he had been a lifelong member
and an elder for forty years The
services weie conducted by- Rev.
,1. II. Thornwell, after which a
great coneourso of relatives and
friends accompanied the remains
to the cemetery, where the interment
took place.
