Attempted Suicide in Sumter.
An unusual attempt to commit
I suicide was made yesterday by
Mr. Willis Sanders. About 10
o'clock last night he went into the
Sumter Pharmacy and a few minutes
afterwards shot himself
through the chest with a revolver,
lie attempted to shoot himself
through the heart but a bone deflected
the bullet which passed
through the body and lodged under
the shoulder blade, where it
was found and taken out by the
doctors. While the wound is
