a failure. The scarcity of seed
makes it necessary far the government
to snpplv the demand and
give Iba farmers of that section
seed for the approaching planting
season. The variety whictt has
been selected with care far West

largely on the bottom farms along
the James, where, in fact, the seed
which goes to Arkansas was raised
last year.
The greatest quantity of the
grain is consigned to dealers in
