Assassin Refuses

Czolgosz 'Maintains His Hole of

Bullalot N Y ., Sept. 17. ? Leon
F. Czolgosz, the assassin of President
McKinley, was arraigned be
tore Judge Edward K Emery in
the county court at 3 o'clock this
afternoon on the indict stent lor
the murder in the tirst degree in
fatally shooting the president in
the Temple of Music at the PanAmerican
exposition on Sept. 0.
Again the stubborn prisoner refused
to plead or even to utter a
word or sound, and the Hon.
Loran L. Lewis, ex-supreme
court justice, entered a plea of
not guilty. The accused will be
tried in the supreme court next
Monday morning.
Crowds flock to the city hall to
day to see the prisoner, but the
uncertainty surrounding the ques

could be secured for him saved
congestion of the court room and

FYager,

bird-shot. It doesn't hurt the
tiger any and it's awfully risky
for you.
Consumption is a tiger
among diseases. It is stealthy
?but once started it rapidly
eats up the flesh and destroys
the life. No use to go hunting
it with ordinary food and medicine.
That's only bird-shot.
It still advances. Good heavy
charges of Scott's Emulsion
will stop the advance. The
disease feels that.
Scott's Emulsion makes the
body strong to resist. It
soothes and toughens the lungs
and sustains the strength until
!he disease wears itself out.
