bridge over Lynches creek between
Kershaw and the Ilaile gold mine
was let hist Tuesday by the county
supervisor to Mr. !l H Massey

bid. We understand that Mr.
Massev also got the contract for
building the new bridge over
Flat Creek, near I'ittmun's, which
was let the same day.

Tl:* directors of tin* State dispensary
rearranged the salaries of
county dispensers and their clerks
this week. In no case was there
a reduction of salary. The increases
wen* hascd on ihe increase
of business during the fiscal year
r.too and the first half of l'.tOL. .
The salary ??f the Lancaster dispenser
was increased ?<;""? per month,
making it ?'i.*?. The clerk was
also raised from ?.">o to ?35. The
salary of the dispenser at Kershaw
was also raised from ?f>o to #<55 ,
per month and his clerk's from
s:{o to ?35. The salaries of 35
other dispensers and of 12 other
clerk's were also increased in
amounts ranging from ?5 to ?10
per month.
