L>catli of an Aged Citizen
Mr S A Ingram, an aged citizen
of the Riverside community,
died last Wednesday evening after
an illness of several weeks. Ho
was about 75 years of ago and
leaves a wife and one son surviv,
, . ^ ing him. He served through the
Confederate war and made a good
soldier. His remains were interred
at Waxhuw church Thursday.

$14 in money, his trunk key
and one or two l:ttle trinkets.

Connor, provided with u search
warrant, went to Thomassnn's
house to search for 'lie money.
He tol I Thomassnn's wife lie had
come for Mr Illakeney's money
and tlmt lie had already committed
Thomasson to jail. The woman
went and got the pocket hook and
handed it over to the Constable.
The trunk key and all the money
except $2, was in the hook. Mr
Blakeney was glad to get his
money back. Thoniasson will be
tried at the next term of court for
grand larceny.

Miller and Mr. .1 F Nisbet, represented
Lancaster county Alliance.

the determination to continue the
Stute alliance exchange which has
been suspended the past year.
About $8,000 of the stock voted

the past weak from a visit to her
brother at Kershaw.
Mr A 1' Brown spent a couple
of days in Cam ion this week.
We learn that the graded school
hero will open the 2nd Monday
in August with Prof Cameron in
charge.
Uev .1 Henry Therrcll who has
for the past five years heen preparing
to goto the foreign field as
a missionary of the Presbyterian
church, has resigned and given up
the ministry on account of his
health, which seems seriously impaired.
Mr Therrell will remain
at the Springs for the present.
