Dentil of an Aged Citizen. Mr James M Barton, an aged and re .--peeled citizen of the Douglas section, died las* Monday evening about 5 o'clock. Had he lived to the 22d day of March he would have celebrated his 85th year, having been born March 22, 1815. Up to five years ago he enjoyed good health and was act ive for his age hut while crossing a branch in his bottoms he fell re ceiving injuries from which he has been con fined to his room ever sin.-p. but durii g those years of! his affliction he ha* had every care and attention that his devoted daughters could give, and they have counted no sacrifice too great to make for the comfort of their father. Mr Barton was a member of the Methodist church for many years prior to his death, fie was a good man and had many friends.
