Van Wyck is in the wake o
progress, some changes are beinj
made. The public rchool hous
was sold and the purchaser, .1 ^
Voder, has had it torn down am
moved on his farm for a tenun
house. Ths Woodmen have joine<
in with the school trustees an<
they will erect a two story build

Mr. R II Massey and family
have the sympathies of their mani
friends in the loss of their com
modious residence, by fire, men
tion of which was mads in Saturday's
Ledger. The origin of th<
firs is unknown. It had made considerable
headway in the second
story before it was discovered.and
