funds last, and many of them are
run the full scholastic year by
supplemental funds sunscribed by

Academy is one of them. A good
school is run there the year
round. For several years the j

one of the best mule teaciiera in '
the State, at its head, and .it has
continued to prow until its pupils
now number between 60 and 70.
The trustees met this week and
decided to employ a competent
lady assistant teacher and Miss
Rena Harris was elected. Such
achoola as the Pleasant Valley
school are a credit to the county
and we hope very soon to see in
every section of the county schools
like the Pleasant Valley. Tabernacle,
Oakhurst, .Jones X 'Roads,
and others we might mention. Onward
Lancaster in the march of
education, until every one of your
62 schools are run the full scholastic
year and by the ablest teachers
that can be procured.
