were a brilliant mhtcss,
lined in the program. The
sword was presented at the capitol
by Governor Candler in the
presence of an immense crowd.The
military parade was the largest
seen in Atlanta in years, visiting
companies from this and surrounding
States participating.
The general assembly met in
joint session and passed a resolution
extending a welcome to the
Stato.
After the presentation of the
sword Lieutenant Brumby's
mother said: "This is one of the
happiest days of my life, and I
hardh know how to express my
self when speaking of the mag
niticent reception my son is today
receiving at the hands of the poo- i
pie of Georgia.''
