Mr. J It Thompson's mules became
frightened and ran off yesterday
morning down Catawba
street. The wagon struck a telegraph
post just south of Col.
Springs1 residence and was badly
broken up, as was also the harness.
Mr. T's little son Oscar,
was standing in front of the mules
when they started and came i
near being run over.
