was a bill which provides for the suspension of
the Courts ol Common Pleas until nextHpiing.

is not interferred with and will convene In the
Pall as usual. We will give further particulars
when received. So far as we understand the

ihe interests of all classes. Its constitutionality
is more than doubtful.
We leain that important changes have beeff
made in the In# cf evidence. Nti persbn is incompetent
from interest in any ca*e, and freedmen
are permitted to testify in all eases, the
same ns white peisons. A law was passed ill
relation to District Courts, and it is suDDOsed
that they will boon be organised.

authoiizing the fcovcrnor to pledge <5r zreJit
of the State In the purchase of corn to the
eltent of three hundred thousand dollnis,
