An aperient and Stomach preparation of Iron ti' .1 ol Oxygen and Carbon by combustion in lDdrogcu. Sanctioned by the highest Medical A uihontioa, l.oiii in Kurope and the United Stales, mid pi escribed in their practice. The experience ol' thousands daily provos that no preparation of Iron can be compared tvith it. Impurities of the blood, depreaaioii of vital energy, pale and otherwise sickly complexion* indieate its necessity in almo-t every conceivable case. Innoxious in all maladies in which it has proved absolutely cmn'iv* in each ol the following complaints, viz In Debility, Nervous Affections Kinacina* tion. Dyspepsia, Constipation, Diairhma, D>?onte.y, Incipient Consumption, Sctoftiiom i n bet culosis, Salt Jthetim, Misinctisti nation,' Whites, Chlorosis, Diver Complaiii|a, Chronic llthlllllclltCM. li ltitiltitu f i ?ji*? - 1 iiiipie* on tin: Knee, &c. * 1 In cuse ot General Debility, whether the result of acute disease, or of tlie continued diuiinution of nervous ami muscular energy from chronic complaint", one trial of this restorative has proved aucde.-sfui to an extent wliicli no deS"tiplion nor written attestation would icoder credible. Invalids go long bed'ridden as to li.ive become forgotten in their own neighboi hood* have suddenly re-appeared in the busy w orld as if just returned from protracted travel in a distant land. Some very signal instances of this kind ure attested ol female Sufferers, emaciated victims of apparent marasmus, sanguineous exhaustion, critical changes, and that complication ol nervous uud dyspeptic avetsiou to air and exercise for which the physician has no name. Jn Nervous Atfectiona of ail kinds, and tor reasons familiar to medical men, the operation of this preparation of iion must iieCeaaarilv lie salutary, lor, unlike the old oxides, it is vigorously tonic, without being exciting and overhealing ; and gently, regularly apeiient, even in the most obstinate cases of costivcncss without ever benign gastric purgative, or inllicling a disagreeable sensation. It is this Intfcr property, among others, which makes it so remaiKubly effectual and permanent a remedy fur I'ilks, upon w hich it also appears to exeii u distinct and specilic ae* turn, by dispeising the local tendency which forms them, In Dyspepsia, iniiuniei'ublo as are its causes, a single box ol these dial} beat# Kills has often sufficed for the most habitual (fuses, including the attended Cosureties*. ^ i In unchecked Dinrrhcea, even vhen aJ^yj j to Dysentery, confirmed, enmcij^een equalparently malignant, lire effects 1 ly decisive and n*tuiiisU?hf flesh and strength In the local pniivrtni remittent hectic, which debilitating nttte Incipient Consumption, this geiieraUui. allayed the alarm of tiiendsand riySicians, in several very gratifying and interesting instances. In Scrofulous Tuberculosis, this medicated iron bus bad far more than the gAod effect ol the most cautiously balanced preparations of iodine, without any of their well known liabilities. The attention of females cannot be too confidently invited to this remedy and restorative, in the case peculiarly affecting them. In Rheumatism, both chronic and inflamatory?in the latter, however, mora decidedly?it baa been invariably well reported, both as alleviating pain and reducing the swellings and alittiicns of the joints and muscles. In Intelinitlent Fevers it must necessarily be a great remedy and energetic restorative, and its progiess in (lie new settlements of the West, will probuhly be one of high renown and usefulness. No remedy lias over been discovered in tha whole history of medicine, whith exerts such prompt, happy, and fully reatorativs effects,? flood appetite complete digestive, rapid acquisition of strengbt, with an unusual disposition for active uod cheerful exercise, immediately follow its use. " j cuffer from Strumous complaints, anu ***** ^ 1 which will accomplish their cure must pro. of immense service to this large class of our afflicted fcllow-citizcu*. How completely this compound will do it has been proven by cxper! iment on many of the worst cases to be found of the following complaints: ? Scrofula and Scrofulous Complaints, Eruptions and Kruptivb Disbasbs, Ulcxrs, plmplbs, blotches, TuNORS, salt llltCUM, Scald Ubad, Syphilis and Syphilitic Ar- . fbctions, Mbrcurial Disbabb, Dropsy, Nbcraluia or Tic Doulourbux, Dbiulity, 1)tspbpsia amd InDIOUSTION, krYSIPSLAS, hoSX , or St. Anthony's Fikb, and indeed the whole class of complaints arising from Impurity or TBs Blood. This compound will be found a great promoter of health, when taken in the spring, to expel the foul humors which fester in ths j blood at that season of the year. By the timely expulsion of them many rankling disorders art nipped in tha bud. Multitudes can, by tha aid of this remedy, spar* themselves from tha andurance of foul eruptions and ulcerous eoree, through which the system will strive to , rid itself of corruptions, if not assisted to do i this through tha natural elianncla of the body I bv an alterative medicine. Cleanse out tha I vitiated blood whenever you find its impurities bursting through the akin in pimples, eruptions, r aorea; clean as it when you find it is obstructed and sluggish in the veins ; cleanse it whenever it is foul, and your feelings will tell vou when. Even wheren6 particular disorder I Is frit, people enjoy better health, and live longer, for cleansing tha blood. Keen tha i blood healthy, and all is wall; but with thia pabulum of life disordered, there can he no lasting health. Sooner or later something must go wrong, and tha great machinery or i life is disordered or overthrown. Sarsaparilla has, and deserves much, the reputation of accomplishing these ends, liut L tha world has bean egregiously deceived by m preparations of it, partly because the drug alone has not all the virtue that is claimed ' tot it, hut more because many preparations, pretending to be concentrated extracts of it, eon tain but little of tha virtue of Sarsaparilla, or any thing else. During lata yeara tha public have been misled by large bottles, pretending to give a nuart wi Extract of Sarsaparilla for one dollar. Most af these have been frauds upon the siik, for I tney not only contain little, if any, Raraaparllla, but often no curative properties whatever. Hence, bittar and painful disappointment . kaa followed the vise of the various extracts of arsaparilla which flood the market, until the name itself is justly despised, and has be.ome ; synonymous with imnontion and cheat. Still we call this compound Rarsapartlla, and intend ! to supply such a remedy as shall rescue the; ' name from the load of obloquy which ret?d , upon it. And we think we have ground for believing it has virtues which are irresistible , br the ordinary run of the diseasrs it is intend- ' | eu to eure.
