THE LAW OF NEWSPAPERS.
1. Subscribers who do not give express
notice to the contrary, are considered as
wishing to continue their subscription.
2. If subscribers order tbe discontinuance
of their papers, tlie publisher can continue
to send them until all arrearages are paid.
3. If subscribers neglect or refuse to
take their papers from the ollice to which
they are directed, thev are held responsible |
till they settle their bill, and order the paper j
discontinued.
4. If any subscriber removes to another
place without informing the publisher, and
their paper is sent to the former direction, i
they are held responsible.
5. The Court has decided that refusing
to take a Newspaper from the ollice, or re
moving and leaving it uncalled for, is prioni j
