What would have been the result of Monday's primary election had not the women voted is, of course, largely conjectural, but as old Pat rick Henry declared, we have no way to judge the future except by the past, and we all know what has al ways happened in the past. The victory-and it is a victory whichever way the second primary results next Monday-is a victory for better city government and a cleaner civic life, and this victory is directly traceable to the woman vote.
