Plows, Harrows, Grain Drills and Cultipackers, showing how this modern machinery meets the needs of the
Edgefield farmers at the time when diversified farming and the acute labor situation demand their attention.
The Dane Cotton Harvester Company
will demonstrate practical picking of cotton by machinery. This is a machine that will do the work. It can
also be used in collecting punctured squares.
Poison for the Boll Weevil
There will also be a demonstration of a machine for applying calcium arsenate to cotton, for poisoning boll
weevils. This is a machine that farmers will need, if they combat the boll weevil successfully next year.

above mentioned. This farm has been cut into six tracts. All desirably lo- j??
cated. Fronting on the public road leading from Edgefield to Antioch church.
