Obituary Notice.
On February 6, 1920, Mrs. Lavinia
Courtney passed away in the eighty
fourth year of her age,
She was a splendid Christian wo
man, always faithful to her church
and devoted to her Lord. She was a
devoted v mother, whose beautiful
Christian influence is indelibly stamp
ed on the lives of the son and daugh
ter who are left to mourn her. '
Whereas, God in His all-wise Prov
idence has called her above to the
mansion not made by hand, Be? it Re
solved :
1st. That the Ebenezer W. M. U.
has lost from its number a faithful
and loyal member whose influence
will be greatly missed.
2nd. That we bow in humble sub
mission to Him who doeth all things
well.
3rd. That we extend our deepest
sympathy to her family in their be
reavement and we pray that God
may richly bless them.
4th. That these resolutions be in
scribed in our minutes, published in
the county paper, in the Baptist
Courier and a copy sent to the fam
ily.
