Notice of Election.
State of South Carolina,
County of Edgcfield.
Wheras a petition has been filed,
and all legal requirements met, it is
hereby ordered that the regularly ap
pointed Board of Trustees of Red
Hill school district No. 3, do hold an
election at H. E. Quarles' store on
Saturday, July 20, 1918, for the pur
pose of voting upon the question of
levying and collecting an additional
special tax of two (2) mills on the
dollar of all taxable property in said
district, proceeds of such additional
levy to be used for school purposes
in Red Hill school district No. 3.
Those favoring such additional levy
shall cast a ballot with the word
"Yes" written or printed thereon,
and those opposing such additional
levy shall cast a ballot with the word
"No" written or printed thereon.
The polls shall open at 8 o'clock
A. M. and close at 4 o'clock P. M.
and in all respects comply with the
section of Code of Laws governing
General elections.
