up the work for which he has for
years felt that he was called lo

gave entire satisfaction on the
first one. The basement is to be
entirely completed by, October 1st.
Then the college building will be

Mr. Grice Returns
It has become proverbial that
when a person once drinks Edge
field's "Park" water they are con
strained, as if by magic, to remain,
in Edgefield, or caused to return
if they for a time take up their
abode elsewhere. The "Park"
water theory has been exempli
fied in the case of Mr. D. T.
Grice and family. Some months
ago Mr. Grice moved to Sharon,
Ga., and engaged in the hotel and
livery business. Despite the be
witching charms of Georgia he
has been constrained to come back
to "his own, his native land". He
with his family will occupy the
old Methodist parsonage which
has been mad new without aud
within. Mr. Grice will conducta
boarding house, and in c.mnectioi:
therewith will run a livery busi
ness. Mr. Grice is being cordially
welcomed by his host of friends.
