The number of pensioners for 1902
was 7500 and it is believed that
more than 8000 names will be on
the roll this year. This increase
in the number of pensioners will
cause a corresponding decrease in
the amount paid to each pensioner.
It is probable, however, that this

than it was last year which will
con pensate for the si igt t decrease
in amount.
