religion of some kind is as natural to

"natural instinct" or "God ? implanted
reason," we must respect the manifes
tations of it wherever found or what
ever guise that may take.
With this preface it is unnecessary
to state that what I have sent is in nc
spirit of ridicule or irreveran.ee. Re
ligion is a natural heritage, ever
though there had been no divine reve
